Buried in Treasures Workshops capitalize on the work of the experts--Dr. David Tolin, Randy O. Frost, and Gail Steketee--as contained within the book, "Buried in Treasures". Our group facilitators guide the discussion to maximize life change while protecting the individual's confidentiality and safety.
If you, or someone you know, is looking for help overcoming an accumulation of treasures, trash, or other items and you are located within the Greater Spokane region, this may be the place for you!
This program was designed to meet the growing needs of community hoarding task forces who could not adequately address the number of requests for help from individuals who self-identified as being plagued by hoarding behaviors.
The workshop includes 12-two hour sessions and includes topics such as personal values, reducing acquiring, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Problem-solving and decision-making skills are critical in building new habits and mindsets to overcome hoarding tendencies by supporting:
-decreased influx of items into the home; as well as,
-increased discarding or elimination of accumulated items within the home.
Workshops are currently forming, scheduled to begin in early January 2015. Contact us to register for the next workshop or for more information.
